The Bidwell Park and Playground Commission has only met three times in the last ten months. What is going on? There is a full commission so it can’t be for a lack of a quorum. The City Council and City Manager started curtailing all the City’s commission activities last year deeming commissions and committees a waste of time and resources. The BPPC has historically had a full agenda and was responsible for managing the Park and not being an “advisory body” at the Council’s will.
