From 6:30- 8:30 pm in City Council Chambers Map. Two volunteer programs are available. All potential volunteers should attend this orientation session.Park Watch Training As ambassadors of the park, Park Watch volunteers provide visitors with information and advise park staff about damage, hazards, vandalism, or other concerns they encounter. The program’s mission is to provide a highly visible volunteer presence in the park that fosters a safe environment. Park Watch volunteers must be at least 18 years old, pass a criminal background check and volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per month. Volunteers should attend both this session and a follow–up field session on April 2nd at 10:30 am.Volunteer Team Leader Program Training The Park Division Volunteer Team Leader Program trains volunteers to lead groups of volunteers in maintaining and restoring the beauty and ecology of Bidwell Park and the City’s greenways.
